Payment Options and Financing

Insurance coverage is very inconsistent and unreliable. Insurance companies are not in the business of making you well, they are in the business of making sure you pay them, but they don’t have to pay for your care. This makes it very difficult for us to arrange for your quality care under uncertain terms of payment.

However, our office will work with you and your insurance company in every way possible to help you obtain coverage for your treatment. We provide you with the information you need to file your claims and get compensation–though the amount is up to your insurer. You are their customer, and they are more likely to respond to you.

We will work closely with you and explain all of this process in more detail when we determine your treatment, discuss our treatment options, and decide on how we can help you. Once you have a detailed estimate, you can start making plans for covering expenses.

If your insurance company doesn’t offer coverage or is slow about providing compensation, CareCredit is a great way to bridge the gap between the treatment you need and the budget you have.

CareCredit is a special line of credit that you can use for many different kinds of health and wellness treatments. That’s right, once you’ve applied for it once, you can use it for additional treatments at our office, or for a variety of health services, such as eye care, hearing care, cosmetic surgery or dentistry, even veterinary care for your pets.

The application is easy to file and responses are typically quick. You can file it at home or we can help you file it at our office as well.

There are two basic approaches CareCredit uses for financing. No-interest plans are available if you want to pay the full amount during the allowed time period, which may be up to 24 months. Or, if you’d prefer, you can set up a monthly low-payment plan, which allows you to pay less over a longer period, perhaps as much as 60 months. They have a handy online calculator that can help you decide which option is best for you.
