About Dr. Jeffrey S. Haddad
Dr. Jeffrey S. Haddad completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Michigan in 1997 and continued work at U of M to complete his DDS in 2001, but that was only the first step in his ongoing dental education.
Since receiving his DDS, Dr. Haddad has not been content with merely maintaining his credentials—he has sought to expand them and increase his understanding of dentistry and related disciplines. He has over 1,500 hours of advanced continuing education since graduating from dental school. These residencies and additional training in TMJ and sleep disorders, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and full-mouth reconstruction have made him an expert in these advanced dental techniques. He has studied extensively at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, reaching the honored rank of LVI Fellow in 2011, a prestigious achievement that few dentists have claimed.
But it is not the prestige that matters so much as the way his additional training has broadened his understanding of dentistry and its role in maintaining oral and general health. His training in neuromuscular and sleep dentistry, for example, helped him understand that dentistry could play a life-changing, even life-saving role in the lives of patients, especially when combined with the expertise of complementary healthcare providers. With over 1000 hours of continued education in TMJ and Sleep Disorders, Dr. Haddad has revolutionized TMJ and Sleep Apnea treatment. This work includes pioneering the TMJ Precision Approach™ and Sleep Apnea Precision Approach™, each of which has helped thousands of patients suffering from TMJ and Sleep apnea across the country.
A sought-after lecturer on cosmetic dentistry, TMJ disorders, and sleep apnea, Dr. Haddad has been training dentists and doctors both nationally and internationally on the latest treatment techniques for the past decade and is even sought out by other doctors for private training in these areas. Using advanced technology and progressive techniques, he has been comprehensively treating TMJ and Sleep disorders longer than any other doctor in the state of Michigan. In 2018, he also became the first doctor in Michigan to offer Summus Medical Platinum Laser therapy for TMJ disorders and headaches.
Dr. Haddad is an active member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Sleep & Breathing Academy, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He lives in Rochester with his wife Melissa and their three beautiful children, Brooklyn, Evan, and Sidney.
